Beyond our own robots, we're opening Rhoda's foundation models to third-party hardware makers. We're looking for a Product Manager to own this platform end to end. This is a high-ownership, zero-to-one role: you'll define the product, work directly with our first partners, and shape how robot makers around the world access generalist robot intelligence.
What You'll Do- Own the end-to-end product definition of Rhoda's platform for third-party hardware partners: the APIs, tooling, and integration experience that let partner robots run on Rhoda's models.
- Work deeply and directly with partner engineering teams to understand their hardware, their operational environments, and their customers, and translate what you learn into clear platform requirements and priorities.
- Define the technical and product boundaries between Rhoda's systems and our partners', deciding what we expose, what partners build, and what we support.
- Design the partner qualification and certification experience, and evolve it as the partner ecosystem grows.
- Own the partner-facing developer experience: documentation, reference implementations, and the tooling partners use to integrate, test, and deploy.
- Conduct partner and customer discovery that informs packaging, prioritization, and the platform roadmap.
- Write crisp, structured requirements and run reviews that keep engineering, research, and partners aligned.
What We're Looking For- 5+ years of product management experience, including shipping a platform, API, or integration product for physical hardware systems - robotics, autonomous vehicles, drones, industrial automation, or comparable embedded domains.
- Hardware-software fluency: you can sit with a partner's controls engineer and hold your own on kinematics, sensors, real-time constraints, and communication buses, then turn around and debate API ergonomics with a software team. Direct robotics experience strongly preferred.
- Partner instincts: you've run design-partner or OEM-partnership motions - small numbers of deep, technical relationships where the product and the partnership develop together.
- Business savvy: you're comfortable in front of customers and partners, you ask the questions that reveal what they'd actually buy, and you can translate that into product and packaging recommendations.
- Boundary-drawing judgment: much of this job is deciding what we own versus what partners own. You've made these calls before and can defend them.
- Excellent writing: crisp requirements, structured reviews, and documentation that partner engineers can build from.
Nice to Have (But Not Required)- Experience with embodied AI, robot foundation models, or the humanoid robotics landscape.
- Experience designing certification, qualification, or "works with" programs.
- Experience working with systems integrators or industrial automation ecosystems.
- Experience as an early or founding PM at a tech startup.
Why This Role- Define a new business, not a feature: you'll be the platform's first and owning product manager from day one.
- Shape how the world's robot makers access generalist robot intelligence.
- Work at the intersection of frontier AI models and real partner hardware, with strong executive commitment behind the platform.
