Full Job Description
We are looking for a detail oriented individual to join the Product Management team. The Product Manager, Regulatory Content is responsible for analyzing and operationalizing domestic and global data breach notification laws and regulations and maintaining the rigid legal standard of our products. As a subject matter expert for the core of our product, this role involves cross team collaboration with engineering, marketing, customer success, and sales. This role also requires being a self starter and working independently. Our ideal candidate is self managing with strong analytical skills, is a problem solver, enjoys teamwork, and has product management experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

This position can be based out of our HQ in Portland, OR, or remote from anywhere in the U.S.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Analyze US and Global data breach notification laws and regulations for ingestion into our product.
  • Work with the team to define the evolution of the legal aspects of our product, manage the backlog of development stories related to the legal engine, and maintain an up to date legal roadmap.
  • Gather, understand, and document both functional and technical requirements related to product development.
  • Support cross team collaboration with marketing, customer success, and sales through training and creation of materials.
  • Participate in prospect and marketing events as appropriate to represent the product and assist with legal questions.
  • Meet with and respond directly to customer requests for legal clarification and product functionality.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience in the legal, compliance, government, privacy, or security industries.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Product Manager; commensurate experience in the software industry will be considered.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and self managing.
  • Experience working with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and creative thinking skills.
  • BS or MS degree preferred, commensurate working experience considered.
  • Familiarity with Google online office suite.
  • Experience with Confluence & Jira
