Full Job Description
Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

Join BILL as a Product Manager on the Payments and Financial Services team, specifically within the FinSuite Platform. FinSuite is BILL's next-generation payments platform, responsible for the core money-movement capabilities that power how hundreds of thousands of SMBs pay vendors, manage cash flow, and automate their financial operations. The team owns Payment Engine, payments processing infrastructure (ACH, check, RPPS, wire), ledger ingestion, platform decoupling, and a growing set of AI-enabled payment experiences. This is high-stakes, high-visibility work: the FinSuite team processed over $30B across 10M+ transactions per month, with a direct line to customer trust and BILL's transactional revenue.

In this role, you'll own a clearly defined product area or workflow within the FinSuite Platform and drive it end to end, from discovery through launch and iteration. You'll write requirements, define success metrics, manage squad execution, and partner closely with engineering, design, analytics, CX, GTM, Finance, and operations to ensure every feature you ship delivers real customer and business impact. You'll also contribute to the team's AI roadmap, helping define safe self-service actions, instrument payment experiences for AI readiness, and measure outcomes for the owned area. SMBs rely on BILL every day to keep their financial operations running. Your work directly shapes that reliability.

Responsibilities:
  • Own a defined product area, feature set, or workflow within FinSuite Platform and drive it from discovery through launch and post-launch iteration.
  • Write product requirements, user stories, success metrics, rollout plans, and launch-readiness materials that engineering and design can execute against.
  • Drive day-to-day squad execution, including sprint participation, prioritization, risk identification, and cross-team dependency management.
  • Build and maintain a quarterly roadmap for the owned area, with a biannual view of priorities and sequencing, in partnership with more senior PMs.
  • Define and track metrics for the owned workstream, covering adoption, reliability, operational efficiency, revenue enablement, and AI or self-service coverage where applicable.
  • Contribute to AI-enabled payment experiences by clarifying workflows, defining tool and API requirements, identifying safe self-service actions, and measuring containment and customer value.
  • Partner with CX, Ops, GTM, Finance, and analytics to ensure every feature works operationally and commercially, not just technically.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and dependency gaps, and escalate with options rather than just problems.

We'd love to chat if you have:
  • 2+ years of product management experience, or equivalent experience in a product-adjacent role with clear ownership of customer and business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to ship software products end to end in partnership with engineering and design, including writing requirements, tracking execution, and driving launches.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to author clear requirements, decision documents, and stakeholder updates.
  • Comfort using data to size opportunities, prioritize work, evaluate post-launch outcomes, and define success metrics at the feature or workflow level.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity within a bounded scope, move work forward independently, and escalate with context when blockers arise.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership instincts, including the ability to coordinate across engineering, design, analytics, and business stakeholders without losing momentum.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in payments, fintech, platform products, or operations-heavy environments where reliability and accuracy are non-negotiable.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled product experiences, including agent workflows, self-service tooling, or instrumentation for LLM-based products.
  • Familiarity with payment rails (ACH, check, wire, card) or financial services platforms serving SMB customers.
