Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Product Manager - Patient Digital Access.

This is an opportunity to join NYU Langone Healths cutting-edge digital team as a Digital Product Manager. You will be a part of a large healthcare organization, but in a department whose culture is similar to that in tech. This team is responsible for improving the patient digital experience, through the conception, development, and launch of products and features for our Patient Digital Access program.

NYU Langone has heavily invested in digital capabilities and innovation across patient, workforce, research, and clinical experience areas. To design, engineer, and deliver innovative products in the digital health landscape, we are looking for a Digital Product Manager. Product Managers at NYU Langone are expected to have a digital product development background, UX sensibility, and the ability to meaningfully contribute to the design and delivery of custom, SAAS, and enterprise solutions. You will report to the Director, Digital Product.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Individual Contributor who delivers components of NYU Langone's digital strategy.
  • Leads design and development for 1+ features/streams within the Patient Digital Access product line.
  • Contributes to the development and grooming of a product strategy, roadmap, and backlog.
  • Establishes product metrics aligned to product and business strategy, partnering with analytics team to design and build dashboards
  • Teams with product engineers, QA, UX, etc. to deliver high quality products in line with user and stakeholder needs.
  • Develops deep understanding of stakeholder and customer needs, as well as market and competitive trends to fuel the product roadmap and feature development.
  • Utilizes product management tools to document and manage requirements and acceptance criteria, and track progress against the roadmap.
  • Collaborates with UX to design and complete experiments (qualitative and quantitative) that test end user behavior and hypotheses.
  • Contributes to development of useful solutions to problems by collaborating as needed with cross-functional partners across the organization (Operations, Marketing, Communications, Clinical, Analytics, Security, UX/Design) and across IT product areas.
  • Manages mitigation of roadblocks and on time delivery with product leadership and technical team.
  • Lead the change management and adoption of developed products and features


Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years of experience working as part of a digital product team.
Experience working as part of an agile product development team.
Experience facilitating the digital product development lifecycle (e.g., product vision, feature prioritization, documenting and driving requirements, and product testing, launch, analytics, and maintenance).
Demonstrated practical application of advanced analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to apply judgment within defined parameters.
Experience integrating user and stakeholder feedback to shape products and features.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to navigate through distributed teams to get things done.
Experience with stakeholder management.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Knowledgeable about user experience.
Displays emotional intelligence.
Able to function well in an autonomous environment.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $101,493.51 - $132,336.05. Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
