What you'll do
Reporting to the Head of Product and working as part of a cross-functional team, the Product Manager will represent the voice of the customer, synthesize information from multiple sources, and translate insights into clear execution. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple responsibilities across functions, communicate effectively with diverse audiences, and apply strong product judgment during solutioning.
The Product Manager will support two portfolios: Digital Platform, including backend services, analytics, reporting, and clinical services workflows; and Connected Devices, including insoles, firmware, mobile applications, and device health.
This includes:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, market dynamics, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- Lead product discovery efforts through customer interviews, user research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Own the product intake, discovery, prioritization, roadmap, and planning processes.
- Define and communicate product strategy, priorities, and roadmap updates to stakeholders across the organization.
- Translate complex business and customer problems into clear product requirements and validated solutions.
- Partner closely with delivery teams to explore solution options and evaluate trade-offs.
- Work with functional leads and delivery teams to ensure a shared understanding of priorities, scope, urgency, dependencies, and context.
- Monitor product performance and customer outcomes, using qualitative and quantitative insights to guide future product decisions.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of product governance, prioritization frameworks, and product management practices.

Additionally, due to the ever-changing and sometimes chaotic environment of an early-stage high-tech company, the Product Manager may assume additional responsibilities, as required.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience contributing to product strategy, discovery, planning, and execution for a business-to-consumer product
- Demonstrated ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and operational realities
- High fluency with analytics and product metrics, with the ability to use data to inform prioritization decisions
- Experience managing products with multiple technical dependencies, stakeholder groups, and user types
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive alignment, and make thoughtful trade-off decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong prioritization skills and a bias toward action
- Empathy for patients, providers, and care teams, with a passion for solving meaningful healthcare challenges
- Curiosity and willingness to develop deep domain expertise in diabetes care, chronic disease management, remote patient monitoring, and digital health
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts and demos to diverse audiences
- Ability to travel from time to time
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Clinical workflow software
- Medical devices
- Working in an ISO 13485 environment
- SaaS platforms
- Remote monitoring health data and insights generation
- Operational tools supporting customer success, support, or healthcare delivery
- Mobile applications
- Connected devices and IoT ecosystems
- Firmware-enabled products
- Device telemetry and monitoring
- Hardware-software integrated user experiences
- Working in a patient centered health care (RN, LVN etc.)
The details
Employment status: Permanent full time.
Schedule: 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday. Peaks and valleys may be required periodically, depending on operational needs.This role is not overtime eligible.
Work location: Calgary, Alberta. This is a hybrid role based at our office at Unit 205, 1240 20 Ave SE, Calgary, AB, T2G 1M8. Regular in-office days are Tuesday and Thursday, with additional in-office days as needed to support business requirements. In-office requirements may change based on business needs. Some travel may be required.
