North Product Manager (Remote, US - EST) Position OverviewNorth Product Management is dedicated to building industry-leading, innovative, user-first products within FinTech. We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager with payments industry knowledge to own the product lifecycle from discovery through delivery. In this role, you will champion the merchant and their end customers to deliver a stable, secure, and seamless payments experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights, define clear performance metrics, and build feature roadmaps that accelerate business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage products through the full lifecycle - from initial inception, discovery, and roadmapping through delivery, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Champion the merchant and customer experience. Turn complex financial and payment data into actionable, compelling insights that help merchants scale their operations.
- Define, document, and review detailed product requirements with UX, engineering, marketing, legal, compliance, and sales stakeholders.
- Establish clear success metrics to accurately measure feature adoption, system reliability, and overall product performance.
- Facilitate beta testing programs to gather early user feedback and recommend key product and feature improvements prior to full market launch.
- Communicate development status, release timelines, and go-to-market strategies across internal teams & external partners.
- Develop and write comprehensive training content to ensure internal alignment and equip sales teams with in-depth product knowledge.
- Continuously collect, organize, and prioritize feature requests and feedback from merchants, sales partners, and internal organization leaders.
- Analyze payment industry trends, market movements, and competitive offerings to inform the product roadmap and establish true product differentiation.
Qualifications:- 4+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years of fintech / payment-specific product experience
- Experience managing products from initial inception, discovery, and roadmapping through delivery, deployment, and ongoing optimization.
- Ability to translate complex metrics into data-informed product improvements that increase user engagement and feature usage.
- Ability to objectively evaluate business operations, identify client-facing KPIs, define product differentiation, and position products effectively against competitors.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical teams, including engineering, legal, UX, and sales.
- Highly self-motivated problem solver capable of navigating ambiguity independently while collaborating effectively with tenured teams.
- BA/BS in a quantitative or technical field.
Salary Range: $100,000- $130,000
