JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties: Conduct market research and discovery to identify industry trends, customer pain points, and new opportunities, integrating findings into the product roadmap to ensure payment products align with business objectives and customer needs. Develop and communicate product strategy and vision to supervisors and assist in setting priorities for growth and innovation. Partner with Sales, Operations, Servicing, Customer Experience, Compliance, Design, Engineering, and Marketing to gather insights and prioritize product features. Responsible for product backlog, ensuring development efforts support the overall strategic roadmap and deliver maximum value. Responsible for product lifecycle, from ideation, requirements gathering through design, development, launch, and post-launch optimization. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of payment products and solutions. Make product decisions by assessing trade- offs among customer needs, business goals, technical feasibility, and regulatory requirements. Establish and track key product success metrics including cost efficiency, feature adoption, risk posture, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and proactively manage risks associated with payment products. Support continuous improvement by analyzing product performance, soliciting user feedback, and implementing enhancements. Communicate product vision, strategy, progress to senior leadership and stakeholders to provide regular updates on initiatives and business impact. Coordinate vendor and partner relationships to support product development, integration, and delivery. Assist in driving strategic initiatives, support change management, and adoption for new products and features. Conduct qualitative and quantitative consumer research to identify user needs, utilize data analysis techniques to generate actionable insights for product development. Develop consumer personas and journey maps to identify key touchpoints, pain points, and opportunities, guiding product development to align with business goals and user needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Management and Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Developer Ecosystem Community Manager, Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires four (4) years of experience with the following: Collaborating with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable digital products. This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Developing product strategy and vision for digital and data-driven platforms, including defining minimum viable products (MVPs) and long-term roadmaps through stakeholder interviews, requirements analysis, and feature prioritization; conducting user research, market analysis, and stakeholder alignment to identify customer needs and integrate findings into product development; managing cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver user-focused solutions. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Managing full product lifecycles for technology platforms including requirements gathering, feature definition, Agile and Scrum methodologies, backlog prioritization, launch planning, and post-launch optimization; managing product documentation and tools using industry-standard platforms including JIRA and Confluence; designing and developing web-based or distributed software applications using Python and JavaScript, including system integrations, secure data flows, and API-based communication; collaborating with technical teams to translate product and user requirements into technical solutions and applying software development best practices throughout the development lifecycle; supporting compliance-aware product development by incorporating principles of data protection, user consent, and information governance into system design and workflows; collaborating with internal stakeholders to align product solutions with applicable operational, regulatory, or policy requirements.

Job Location: 3223 Hanover St, Palo Alto, CA 94304. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel for visiting client sites, client meetings, and visiting other JPMC sites.

Full-Time. Salary:  $186,222 - $201,000 per year.
