Role Overview
The Product Manager on the MONARCH Global Strategic Marketing team is a leader responsible for defining and executing product strategy and innovation for specific product area or subsystem of the MONARCH Platform. This role partners crossfunctionally to translate clinical and customer insights into clear unmet needs and feature targets to guide development & support successful product launches. This role would support either MONARCH Bronchoscopy or MONARCH Urology, and would report to a Director on the MONARCH Global Strategic Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management (Subsystem Level): Propose feature updates to inform product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for a defined product area, component, or workflow within the MONARCH Platform, such as a working channel instrument or procedure workflow
Innovation Execution: Partner with R&D and cross-functional teams to translate customer and business needs into detailed product requirements and guide development through design control and launch
Customer, Clinical, & Competitive Insights: Gather and synthesize VOC, procedural workflow insights, and competitive intelligence to inform feature prioritization and design decisions
Launch & Lifecycle Management: Support product launches and manage sustaining activities including enhancements, issue resolution, and end-of-life planning
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a core team member aligning engineering, regulatory, clinical, and commercial stakeholders to deliver on product objectives
Market & Business Analysis: Contribute to market assessment, forecasting, pricing inputs, and business case development for product initiatives
Commercial Support: Partner with global marketing and regional teams to support product positioning, training, and adoption efforts
Qualifications
B.A./B.S. in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred
A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience across MedTech product management, engineering, marketing, sales, or education.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting to customers and internal leadership teams.
Proven ability to analyze customer needs, VOC, and market data, and then synthesize into clear and compelling product strategies and narratives.
Advanced problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. Able to simplify complexity and effectively prioritize work.
A self-starter who prides themself as being the product expert and voice for the customer/field. Works selflessly to achieve results and advance a team mission.
What Sets You Apart
Experience with robotics, interventional pulmonology, thoracic oncology, or urology
Curiosity and rigor in understanding complex clinical workflows, with a hands-on approach to learning from surgeons and real-world use cases
Demonstrated success contributing to product development and launches, delivering high-quality execution with measurable results
Other:
Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international), including some weekends, primarily for customer visits and congresses
Ability to work in an operating room environment
This role is required to be onsite in the Santa Clara office at least 3-4 days per week
The anticipated base pay for this role is $118,000 to $203,550
