About the role:We are looking for someone passionate about creating the world's most thrilling customer driving experience. As Product Manager, you'll define product strategy, shape the roadmap, and bring innovative products to life in vehicles driven around the world.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties:- Understand and advocate for the needs of the customer.
- Create a playbook for how our brands go to war when entering new markets ('New-Market-Entry'). Identify all of the tools we will use to announce our arrival, establish our credibility, and maintain relevance within new markets.
- Set the product roadmap.
- Ensure sufficient roadmap depth in quantity and time horizon to support headcount and resource planning.
- Create a playbook for how we attack a new vehicle ('Go-to-Market'). Standardize products, features, benefits, expected costs & pricing targets, etc.
- Set initial retail prices as products approach launch, balancing margin targets, competitive positioning, and customer expectations.
- Serve as the central point of visibility for all products moving through the NPD pipeline.
- Create and distribute clear, concise and actionable product specifications for everyone involved in product creation.
- Maintain an understanding of the processes and roles each department plays in the development, commercialization and launch of new products.
- Publish regular NPD progress reports to leadership and the CEO.
- Monitor and track the performance of historical SKUs and product launches.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:- Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of product management experience in an enthusiast market.
- Strong understanding of product costing, pricing strategy, and margin management.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management instincts with a bias toward visual management and proactive communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to develop long-term solutions.
- Adept with technology such as ERP, Google Suite, and other software tools.
