Full Job Description
We're looking for a Product Manager II to join the Growth Product team and own a significant portion of how we acquire, convert, and retain new members. This is an opportunity to set strategy and directly impact company growth through product experimentation, iteration, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You'll define and drive features that move the needle on key business metrics, operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment where data and user insight fuel decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for a core area of the Growth funnel (acquisition, conversion, activation, or retention), setting measurable goals tied directly to company growth targets across web and app experiences.
  • >
  • Drive product discovery, delivery, and iteration end-to-end, partnering with Engineering, Design, and Analytics to ship scalable, high-impact solutions on accelerated timelines.
  • >
  • Design and run a high-velocity experimentation program - define hypotheses, structure A/B tests, interpret results, and translate learnings into a compounding roadmap of wins.
  • >
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Finance leadership to align cross-functional initiatives and influence company-level growth strategy.
  • >
  • Lead deep quantitative and qualitative analysis to surface friction points, size opportunities, and build the business case for new investments; prioritize ruthlessly against impact.
  • >
  • Write crisp product specs and operate as the directly responsible individual for execution quality from discovery through launch and post-launch iteration.
  • >
  • Mentor more junior PMs and analysts, raise the bar for the team's product craft, and contribute to Growth team operating cadence and best practices.
  • >

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5+ years in product management, growth, or a related role with a demonstrated track record of shipping products that produced measurable business impact.
  • >
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in SQL and product analytics tools (Amplitude, Sigma, or equivalent) and able to independently pull, model, and interpret data without analyst support.
  • >
  • Direct experience with DTC subscription products or digital consumer growth funnels, including running structured experimentation programs.
  • >
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate competing priorities, and articulate trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • >
  • Sharp product intuition and user empathy paired with a rigorous, data-informed mindset and a bias toward iterative shipping over big-bang launches.
  • >
  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to define problems, structure approaches, and drive clarity in fast-moving, loosely-defined spaces.
  • >
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and energized by a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • >
  • Passionate about fitness, wellness, and WHOOP's mission.
  • >
  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
