Position SummarySamsung's Ultrasound business in Canada is entering an active growth phase, and this role will be central to it. Reporting to the Head of Business (HME), the Product Manager will help lead the commercial and clinical growth of Samsung's Ultrasound portfolio across four sub-segments: Women's Health, General Imaging, Point of Care, and Cardiology.
This is a builder role. The Product Manager will develop Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships, deepen engagement with clinical societies, and lead marketing events that establish Samsung's credibility in each sub-segment. They will also strengthen the clinical capability of Samsung's Canadian distributors through structured education, Voice of Customer (VOC) programs, and close alignment with Samsung HQ - ensuring the Canadian market's needs are understood, represented, and met.
Operating within a matrix structure, the role works closely with Samsung HQ in Seoul and North American regional resources, while reporting into the Canadian HME organization.
Role and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Product Leadership- Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and global product roadmaps.
- Translate Voice of Customer (VOC), market trends, and competitive intelligence into actionable product improvements and commercialization strategies.
- Partner with global R&D to prioritize product enhancements, software releases, and future innovation.
Commercial & Market Excellence- Lead product launches, go-to-market planning, competitive positioning, pricing support, and commercial readiness.
- Drive consistent product messaging, value propositions, and customer engagement across all imaging businesses.
- Oversee product evaluations, customer feedback programs, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) collaborations to strengthen market adoption.
Clinical Education & Customer Success- Provide strategic oversight for internal and external clinical education programs that improve product adoption and customer outcomes.
- Partner with Clinical Education to develop scalable training programs, digital learning, and customer education initiatives.
- Establish performance metrics to measure training effectiveness, product utilization, and clinical impact.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration- Lead, mentor, and develop Product Management and Clinical Education teams while fostering collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Service, Operations, Regulatory, and Engineering.
- Create standardized processes, reporting, and communication frameworks that improve organizational efficiency and global alignment.
- Build strong partnerships between SECA, U.S., HQ, and international regions to ensure consistent execution and shared best practices.
Operational Excellence- Oversee product lifecycle management, demo assets, product quality initiatives, and commercialization readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement through standardized VOC processes, customer feedback, KPI reporting, and business analytics.
- Support regulatory, Health Canada approval, research, and clinical initiatives that enhance product quality and market success.

KOL Development & Management- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across all four Ultrasound sub-segments.
- Select and manage KOL engagement in alignment with common goals, research initiatives, and Samsung's broader clinical strategy.
- Lead or support advisory boards and HQ-sponsored research collaborations that reinforce Samsung's clinical credibility.
Society & Marketing Events- Build and manage relationships with relevant national and provincial clinical societies for each sub-segment.
- Represent Samsung at society conferences and coordinate participation in national and international events.
- Plan and execute marketing events and outreach programs that build brand presence and clinical credibility in each sub-segment.
Skills and QualificationsRequirementsKnowledge:- Proficiency in English required; French proficiency strongly preferred given national market scope.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
- Skilled relationship builder and communicator, able to influence across clinical, commercial, and distributor audiences.
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed, multinational organization.
- High initiative and resilience, with willingness to travel regularly within Canada.
Education:- Bachelor's degree
- MBA or other advanced degree is an asset
Experience:- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development within Medical Imaging, specifically Ultrasound.
- Minimum 3 years in a management or leadership capacity, ideally within a distributor-led commercial model.
- Proven track record in one or more of Women's Health (OB/GYN), General Imaging, Point of Care, or Cardiology ultrasound segments.
- Experience working with Canadian clinical societies, conferences, workshops, and industry events.
- Strong understanding of public and private procurement models in Canada.
- Demonstrated experience managing KOLs, societies, and clinical influencers.
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $98,000 to $135,000 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.
