Full Job Description
We are looking to fill the role of Product Manager for our Military & Government Division. The Product Manager is the vital sales link between the Strategic Partners we represent and the military markets we support. The Product Manager provides subject matter expertise, manages product line activity, supports strategic decision making, financial and operational, and ensures seamless alignment between partners, internal team members and customers worldwide.

This is an in-person position working from our Hauppauge, NY facility

Duties & Responsibilities -
  • Act as the day-to-day subject matter expert for assigned product lines, supporting sales teams and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with daily contacts at Strategic Partners.
  • Prepare and present monthly sales reports and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to Strategic Partners and Executive Leadership.
  • Oversee DLA solicitation processes - Pre- and Post-Award (sourcing, pricing, submittals, contracts).
  • Identify, prioritize, manage and monitor product line sales gaps by end-user, by platform in concert with global sales team.
  • Coordinate Foreign Military Sales (FMS) solicitation processes with FMS Program Managers and agents worldwide.
  • Identify, track, and process new business opportunities, including SAR package builds.
  • Review and strategically price long-term contracts and fixed-price agreements.
  • Recommend and implement pricing strategies to maximize gross profit.
  • Develop, update, and monitor annual sales forecasts, including sales and margin performance.
  • Support identification and development of new project and program initiatives.
  • Strategically manage inventory levels in partnership with Supply Chain.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities -

  • Perform front-end sourcing functions (Source ID, Quotes), manage order processing and coordinate purchases with Seal Dynamics Materials Team.
  • Support processing of Broker and Reseller inquiries (sourcing, pricing, quoting, follow-up, etc.).
  • Establish/maintain customer relationships, actively participate in new account development.
  • Recommend credit terms where required.
  • Responsible for maintaining military fleet product matrix.
  • Guide /support / execute the Order entry processes, with CSR Team.
  • Identify, Track and Process SAR opportunities (includes SAR package Builds).

Experience & Education Required -

  • Bachelor's degree in business preferred
  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense preferred
  • Experience working with U.S. Government preferred

Light travel on occasion may be required (<20%) - for Training, Customer or Strategic Partner Visits
