Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, and logistics for software or hardware.
  • 5 years of experience in analytics, forecasting, or capacity planning.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience influencing and managing multiple stakeholders across operations, finance, business, and engineering to drive product strategy, balancing product trust with stakeholder goals, with the ability to drive progress without direct authority.
  • Experience in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C), with a strong focus on customer problem-solving and deep empathy with customers.
  • Ability to be accountable for all stages of the product lifecycle, and care deeply about products (past or present).
  • Ability to translate technical acumen (including qualitative and quantitative analytics, KPIs, scorecards) into everyday language to deliver a story.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

As a Product Lead for the Demand Planning product portfolio, your mission will be to streamline and augment the way Alphabet product areas signal their growth and how our supply chain responds to it. At the epicenter of our incredible AI growth, your products will ensure that we are able to build enough capacity to deliver compute and storage capacity on time. You will coordinate with other Product Managers (PMs) on the team to connect our advanced fulfillment optimization capabilities with the product areas business needs, and to ensure that our supply chain can always satisfy Alphabet's future growth.

Responsibilities
  • Define the strategy and milestones for the forecasting, demand curation, AI assistant, and proactive demand management product portfolios to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Partner with product areas and supply chain stakeholders to define requirements and collaborate with User Experience (UX) designers and Engineering teams to manage product delivery from minimum viable product (MVP) to launch.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers (PMs) across the organization to ensure products enhance the customer experience and deliver improvements.
