We're seeking a proactive, business-minded Product Manager to serve as the technical expert and primary contact for our Chemical Pulping product line in the Valmet Pulp Energy and Circularity (PEC) portfolio. In this high-impact role, you'll drive proposal development, support customers, collaborate across sales, engineering, field service, and manufacturing, and help grow a critical part of our business. You'll manage inquiries and proposals, support troubleshooting, guide product development, contribute to strategic planning, and help ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This position is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy and innovation. Travel is required 50-70%, including occasional international trips.

Expectations

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience), strong technical communication skills, the ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, and control drawings, and a solid understanding of pulp mill operations. Those with a digester and feedline systems background will be given preferred consideration but any overall pulp mill experience is valued. A customer-first mindset, strong organizational abilities, and comfort managing shifting priorities are essential.
