This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

Location: Des Moines, IA (or remote at manager discretion)

The John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) is seeking a Product Manager to lead the evolution of geospatial analysis experiences within John Deere Operations Center. This role will own the roadmap and execution for Field Analyzer, one of the most highly engaged customer experiences in Operations Center, while helping define the future of geospatial analysis across our digital ecosystem.

Your mission will be to help customers better understand, visualize, and act on their agronomic and operational work data through intuitive, trusted, and impactful map-based experiences. You will work across product, engineering, UX, and platform teams to unlock new capabilities that improve how customers analyze operations, understand outcomes, and measure technology utilization.

This role will help shape emerging AI-powered experiences, including an AI agent designed to help customers interact with and gain insights from their agronomic work data in natural and useful ways. You will also push the envelope on how we enable teams and stakeholders to more easily contribute data to geospatial analysis features in a platform manner.

  • Own and prioritize the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Field Analyzer and platform related analysis capabilities within Operations Center
  • Partner with customers, dealers, engineering teams, and UX teams to deeply understand customer workflows, pain points, and opportunities related to operational and agronomic analysis
  • Collaborate with platform and foundational technology teams to prioritize technical investments that improve data quality, usability, performance, and analytical capabilities while enabling stakeholders to more
  • Help shape AI-driven customer experiences that allow users to interact with agronomic work data in intuitive and valuable ways
  • Influence how technology utilization, operational outcomes, and value metrics are surfaced across digital tools and customer experiences
  • Translate customer and business needs into valuable product needs, user experiences, and roadmap priorities
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams throughout development to ensure delivery of high-quality, customer-centered experiences
  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, tradeoffs, and outcomes effectively across teams and stakeholders

  • 2+ years of experience in digital or software product development in some capacity
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, UX, architecture, analytics, and business teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for building simple, intuitive customer experiences from complex systems and data
  • Experience collaborating with software engineers and designers to deliver customer-facing digital products
  • Ability to think strategically while also driving execution and attention to detail
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn deeply about customer workflows, agronomic operations, and digital analysis experiences


What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience working in digital product management or a closely related role
  • Familiarity with John Deere Operations Center and customer workflows within production agriculture
  • Experience building or contributing to customer-facing analytical or geospatial software experiences, particularly in agriculture
  • Experience working with AI-powered or conversational experiences in customer-facing applications
  • Strong intuition for user experience and product design patterns
  • Comfort engaging with technical concepts, platform capabilities, and data models without needing to write code
  • Experience helping align priorities across multiple teams and stakeholders in a complex organization


Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Computer Science / engineering.
  • Agriculture or Agronomy.
  • Human-Centered Design.
  • Business, Product, or Technology-related disciplines.
