Working Location: Massachusetts, Westborough; Nationwide Workplace Flexibility: HybridJob DescriptionSupports the Advanced Surgical Energy business by managing a portfolio of Advanced Surgical Energy products, developing and nurturing the portfolio's value proposition. As a Product Manager, you will 'own' the business you manage and will be responsible for the commercial strategy, pricing, positioning, forecasting, sales training, marketing, sales tool creation and promotions. The Product Manager will also support product adoption through partnerships with HCPs and societies.
Job Duties- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Advanced Surgical Energy products, including targeting, segmentation, messaging, and sales engagement.
- Interface with cross-functional project teams, physicians, and sales personnel to provide guidance necessary to develop world class products that meet customers' needs.
- Support the creation and drive the fulfillment of the Advanced Surgical Energy commercialization plan while partnering with upstream, global and cross-functional team members.
- Responsible for field work with sales, sales management, and clinical teams. Create marketing collateral and tools to support the selling process.
- Create the value proposition, positioning statements, key sales messages, and sales rep talk tracks for the product(s) you support.
- Monitor sales trends and update forecasts as necessary to meet demand.
- Monitor market trends including competition, procedural/market growth, reimbursement, and emerging technologies.
- Develop relationships and work closely with health care professionals in clinical situations (Operating Rooms, Clinics, and/or Doctors' Offices) and societies to understand and promote benefits of Olympus products.
- Work hand in hand with other companies in the industry that complement Olympus' products to promote products.
- Maintain your expertise as the "product specialist" by attending procedures, courses, tradeshows, and staying abreast of industry changes and advancements.
- Create training presentations, tools, and conduct training for sales at training sessions, national sales meeting, tradeshows, customers, etc.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines, develop new processes and drive them to completion.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job QualificationsRequired:- BA/BS required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
- Must have experience in downstream marketing (product launch/commercialization), field sales, field marketing, or clinical support.
- Proven record of accomplishment in managing complex projects to successful completion.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence a cross functional team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills, including interactions with sales and senior customer personnel.
- Proven track record of developing / maintaining strong customer and sales force relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, & Word is required.
Preferred:- Upstream marketing experience (new product development) a plus.
- Experience within medical device experience preferred, surgical a plus.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position in this location is $108,767.00 - $152,274.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position, including level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
