JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA office in the Lingo Division. Personalized healthcare is the future. Working on Lingo, you will help build a next-generation technology that gives people real-time visibility into their own biology, showing how food, sleep, training, and stress actually shape their health. The Lingo team embodies a start-up culture and mindset with the backing of Abbott, a company with a rich history of healthcare innovation. Join us and grow your career as you help Abbott shape the future of healthcare.

As a Product Manager, you'll partner with Lingo Product, Engineering, Design and Clinical leadership to craft and deliver on the Lingo product vision and strategy. The best product vision is only as good as what ships to our customers - so your work on exciting new products and features will span inception to launch. Along the way, you'll build an in-depth understanding of our customers' needs and work across the Lingo and Abbott teams.

What You'll Work On

Partner with other product managers, designers, engineers, clinical experts and regulatory experts to execute on the product vision.

Gain an in-depth understanding of our customers and their needs. Use this knowledge to challenge the status quo, find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas to identify and fill product gaps, grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.

Translate the product vision and utilize market and industry knowledge to develop detailed requirements, stories and acceptance criteria.

Exercise strong decision making by scoping and prioritizing activities based on customer and business impact.

Define and own end-to-end delivery strategy from inception to production (product features, roadmaps, and OKRs).

Meet with stakeholders to regularly review and report on progress, including impediments that need attention.

Demonstrate a sense of urgency and "ownership attitude" while working closely with design and engineering teams to deliver the best experience for our users.

Manage product lifecycle: analyze product performance, manage improvements, additions, and updates; shepherd the product throughout its lifecycle, from launch through sunsetting.

Qualification:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 2 years of experience taking well-loved features or products from conception to launch
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, marketing, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Demonstrated success obsessing over the customer and launching great user experiences - using customer research, insights, and data to drive decisions
  • Experience launching mobile apps, preferably in a highly regulated environment
  • Experience presenting to and influencing internal and external stakeholders, at various levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Engineering, MBA or another advanced degree
  • Strong experience building, launching, and scaling consumer-facing mobile applications (iOS/Android), with a deep understanding of mobile UX patterns, engagement, and retention drivers
  • Hands-on experience partnering closely with Design using tools like Figma, with a strong eye for mobile UX/UI, user flows, and in-app interactions
  • Experience defining and optimizing mobile metrics (e.g., activation, engagement, retention) using data (in tools such as Amplitude), experimentation, and user insights
  • Familiarity with mobile development constraints and best practices (performance and app store releases), enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams
