Product Line Manager - Fiber PassivesJob Description:Responsible for profitable growth at the product line level and assigned market segment. Develop quantifiable strategies for profitable growth at the product line level that supports the company's overall goals and values relating to its cable, connectivity, and networking products. Participate in the strategy development process by analyzing and discussing electronics systems to determine product feasibility. Manage the product portfolio by charting product life cycle, adjusting the offering based on market requirements and competitive landscape. Lead the new product development process by recommending design of electronic products and systems, preparing necessary criteria, procedures, reports, and plans for successful product completion, and take responsibility for quantifying market value and financial viability of proposed products. Apply project management tools, including evaluating project work to ensure effectiveness, technical adequacy, and compatibility. Develop innovative methods and materials to train customers on products and sales team on selling the associated value proposition. Establish, manage, and provide information required for business operations such as forecasting, budgets for equipment and control expenditures, inventory requirements for project material and equipment needs, product structure and hierarchies, and commercial policies and present those findings. Work with purchasing manager to develop and improve supplier relations for network infrastructure solutions. Work closely with quality personnel to review product consistency through adequate inspection, ensure its conformance to technical specifications, recommend design modifications, and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment.
Job Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or closely related field.
- Two (2) years of B2B telecommunications product/portfolio management experience.
- Approximately 20% domestic travel required to unanticipated client and manufacturing sites.
- May work remotely.
- Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $112,861 - $130,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role.
