Your Role

The Vendor Management and Special Projects team supports multiple vendors and programs including both operational and strategic oversight. The Product Line Manager, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager. In this role you will manage oversight and contract compliance with third-party entities while having individual account/vendor management and oversight responsibilities for newly contracted vendors. This role is instrumental in contributing to the team's and department's roadmaps and growth strategies. This individual will partner across internal teams and external stakeholders, including vendors, to develop and oversee operational models, contractual supervision as well as oversee implementation efforts from concept through launch.

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:
  • Be responsible for managing performance of strategic product line to deliver membership/OI targets and customer experience measures, accounting for acquisition, retention, and performance improvement
  • Collaborate with business line product strategists and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Healthcare Quality and Affordability, Customer Experience, IT, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Actuary) to align portfolio priorities with corporate strategy and drive development and management of the product pipeline
  • Develop and deliver business and technical requirements, that business changes capture the intent of the change
  • Own and manage end-to-end relationships with external vendors, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization
  • Monitor and report on overall performance of individual product line based on a wide range of measures (financial, membership, customer experience)
  • Support vendor contract oversight and compliance, ensuring services are delivered in alignment with contractual obligations and business needs
  • Track and validate vendor invoices, payments, and associated spend, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contracted services
  • Assist in the creation and interpretation of business product performance analytics to drive ongoing support for product initiatives
  • Contribute to enterprise roadmaps and long-term planning initiatives spanning multiple lines of business
  • Translate strategic vision into actionable initiatives, aligning cross-functional teams to deliver on key priorities
  • Lead end-to-end program execution, including planning, timelines, dependencies, and delivery tracking
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions, measure success, and refine strategies
  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI-driven insights into reporting, planning, and execution processes


Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience
  • Requires a bachelor's in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare, Public Health, or related field; graduate degree is highly desirable
  • Requires at least 7 years of experience in product strategy, program management, vendor management and/or consulting roles
  • Requires experience leading complex, cross-functional programs and initiatives; including vendor contract drafting, approval and execution
  • Requires experience leading end-to-end program or project execution, including planning, implementation, and delivery of new initiatives or capabilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare products and industry trends
  • Strong quantitative analysis and modeling skills; ability to interpret complex data sets and forecast future revenue streams
  • Demonstrated success managing vendor relationships and external partnerships including financial negotiations, tracking and paying highly preferred
  • Strong project management discipline (Agile experience preferred); experience with JIRA, Workfront, Archer, SMP and Copilot preferred


Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
