Responsibilities

  • Own and manage product change management (PCM) and control processes.
  • Ensure accuracy of customer shipped configurations and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Develop and implement common modules roadmap following Phase 5 of the ePLC.
  • Oversee component roadmaps, including obsolescence management and cost reduction efforts.
  • Facilitate intercompany communications on product strategy and market alignment.
  • Manage strategic vendor issues impacting product delivery.
  • Handle all product changes post-release, addressing engineering, quality, safety, and supply issues.

Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Owns product change management (PCM) and control
    • Unreleased product approval and control
    • ECO (Engineering Change Order) approval
    • Implementation of PCN (Part Change Notification), with Global Product Support
    • Manages field service related activities, reviews approves and filters all system feedback activities that will have customer impact
  • Accuracy of customer shipped configurations and BOMs (Bill of Materials)
    • CaRM (Configuration accuracy Review Meeting) reviews
    • BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy
    • NSR (Non Standard Request) approval
  • Owns common modules roadmap and implementation post Phase 5 of ePLC.
  • Implementation of component roadmaps including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors and cost reduction
  • Facilitates Intercompany communication to align on product strategies, provide guidance on pricing, spare level contents, and restricted part orders. Facilitates alignment meeting for product roadmap and market proliferation
  • Implementation of cost reduction roadmap
  • Manage strategic vendor issues
  • Manage all changes to the product after product release
    • whether driven by engineering, quality, safety, customer demands or supply obsolesce


Minimum Qualifications (Must Have):
  • Applicants must have a strong implant background and have in depth technical knowledge of various implant platforms.
  • Service readiness assessment and driving necessary tasks for NPI products will be the day-to-day responsibility of this role.
  • This role requires working with GPS, iTeam, Field and Engineering to drive design for install, design for serviceability and design for Applied services into NPI.
  • Partnering with AGS FSO focals and the field will be essential to drive improvements in to training and documentation.
  • Due to the nature of this role, employee must be on site in Gloucester. Candidates must be in Massachusetts or nearby and/or are willing to relocate to Massachusetts.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
