POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Information Manager is responsible for establishing and leading the organization's product information strategy, governance framework, operating model, and Product Information Management (PIM) capabilities. This role serves as the primary owner of product information standards, taxonomy and attribute governance, product data quality, eligibility requirements, and the processes that support product creation, maintenance, enrichment, and publication across the enterprise. The Product Information Manager will lead the implementation and ongoing evolution of Product Information Management (PIM) capabilities while creating scalable processes, governance models, and standards that support exceptional customer experiences, operational efficiency, and digital growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establish and maintain enterprise product information governance frameworks, standards, policies, ownership models, and stewardship processes.
• Define and maintain the product information operating model, including roles, responsibilities, workflows, controls, and governance procedures.
• Own the enterprise product data dictionary, business glossary, field definitions, business rules, and product information standards.
• Define and govern key product information entities, relationships, hierarchies, classifications, and the eCommerce product data model.
• Serve as the business owner and subject matter expert for Product Information Management (PIM) capabilities.
• Lead PIM implementation, optimization, adoption, training, and long-term roadmap initiatives.
• Define future-state product information workflows supporting product onboarding, enrichment, maintenance, publication, and retirement processes.
• Establish and govern processes supporting product creation, maintenance, enrichment, publication, and retirement.
• Define standards and workflows for supplier content acquisition, product enrichment, content validation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Lead the design and governance of product taxonomy structures, category frameworks, classification standards, and attribute strategies.
• Define category-level attribute requirements, inheritance models, approved Lists of Values (LOVs), and data standards.
• Establish and govern product eligibility standards for publication across eCommerce, marketplaces, syndication partners, and other digital channels.
• Develop and maintain data quality frameworks, scorecards, KPIs, monitoring processes, and remediation workflows.
• Partner with Digital Merchandising to ensure taxonomy, attributes, and data standards support discoverability, search, navigation, filtering, and recommendation experiences.
• Drive organizational alignment around product information standards, governance, customer experience requirements, and digital transformation initiatives.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Data Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Information Management, Master Data Management, Product Content, Data Governance, Digital Commerce, or related disciplines.
• Experience with PIM systems such as Informatica, STIBO, Syndigo, Salsify, PIMcore, or others
• Strong understanding of product information management, data quality, governance, taxonomy management, attribute frameworks, and digital commerce best practices.
• Experience designing scalable business processes, governance frameworks, operating models, and product information standards.
• Experience leading or supporting Product Information Management (PIM) implementations
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working within Google BigQuery to analyze product, customer, merchandising, search, and operational data;
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with large datasets, performing data validation and analysis, and leveraging Google BigQuery to investigate issues, identify opportunities, and support business decisions.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, dashboarding, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio), with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Salary: $110,000/yr.
Position Location: Hybrid schedule in Columbus, OH, or remote in the vicinity of Chicago, IL.
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
