Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or related Engineering discipline
• Hands-on experience in airfoils investment casting industry preferred
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills
• Familiarity with process control methods
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in a major 3D CAD software package
• Knowledge of Zero-Defect Program: PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Control
• Six Sigma Certification is a plus
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status required

Responsibilities

• Develop processes and reduce scrap on assigned parts
• Write and update Engineering instructions
• Manage product release activities to meet schedules and budgets
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
• Evaluate and improve processes to maintain budgeted yields
• Conduct dimensional probability studies
• Complete and submit product qualifications
• Develop and implement specific procedures for parts
• Utilize statistical techniques for casting process analysis
• Design required tooling and coordinate with tool rooms
