Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience in the airfoils investment casting industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Familiarity with process control methods is necessary.
• Ability to develop and execute effective action plans for results.
• Skill in managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in a major 3D CAD software package is required.
• Knowledge of Zero-Defect Programs, including PFMEA and Control Plans, is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes and controls to reduce scrap on assigned parts.
• Write and update engineering instructions.
• Manage product release activities to adhere to schedules and budgets.
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction.
• Evaluate and improve processes to enhance yield.
• Conduct dimensional probability studies.
• Initiate and complete product qualifications.
• Develop specific procedures for parts and tooling designs.
• Use statistical analysis techniques for yield and dimensional elements of the casting process.
