Skills Required:
Electrical Wiring - Candidate should be familiar with developing and releasing wiring harness designs for a vehicle electrical distribution system (EDS). Resolving DFMEA/design-for-manufacturing issues with harness suppliers, having hands-on experience with OEM wiring design tools (e.g., CATIA/Capital, or equivalent schematic-capture and harness-design software), knowledge of SAE/USCAR wiring standards, and ability to read and mark up 2D/3D wiring diagrams and geometry

Experience Required:
System engineering, root cause analysis, quality improvement, low voltage wiring

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree

If a candidate plans to relocate, note in the submittal that the relocation will be at the candidate's own expense.*** -Support daily warranty claim binning, triaging incoming claims, and prioritizing containment actions based on claim count & priority ranking -Support manage the change process for Engineering Issues: Coordinating plant trials, leading manage the change sign off process, ensuring the manufacturing plant is ready to incorporate design changes -Support error proofing systems identifying resolution for both internal & external issues -Attend VRT sub-system meetings, working with supporting skill teams to resolve quality & design issues -Review internal end of line electrical issues, triaging DTC's, developing workplans to resolve -Leverage quality systems to identify customer issues based on DTC information - Lead design resolution of low voltage EDS issues -Review pre-production vehicles for potential campaign items and assess warranty impact -Participate in vehicle builds and led resolution of issues (AIMS/JIRA) -Develop roadmap to eliminate high hurt internal/external issues. -Develop business cases for engineering changes using facts and applicable data -Lead engineering changes from initial concept through production launch
