ROLE SNAPSHOT

• Location/Schedule: Remote, Full-Time
• Purpose: Lead the research, formulation, and launch of innovative dietary supplements and sports nutrition products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate and present original product concepts.
• Research ingredients and review scientific literature.
• Source and evaluate new raw materials.
• Partner with manufacturers to solve formulation challenges.
• Ensure formulas meet compliance, safety, and label claim standards.
• Manage multiple projects from concept through launch.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Compliance, Regulatory, Marketing, Operations).
• Review marketing materials for scientific accuracy.
• Analyze competitor products and pricing trends.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's in Nutritional Science, Food Science, Biochemistry, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years in product development or formulation (supplements, functional foods, or natural products).
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to interpret scientific research and nutritional data.
• Excellent communication and vendor relationship skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in both supplement formulation and functional food development.
• Familiarity with market trends in clean-label nutrition.

The pay range for this position is $78,000 to $98,000 annually. Please note that the quoted pay range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
