  • Drive product innovation by identifying opportunities across device technologies, features, formats, and customer needs.
  • Oversee prototyping, product testing, quality-control requirements, and regulatory considerations in partnership with the appropriate internal and external teams.
  • Optimize existing SKUs for product performance, customer experience, cost, and scalability, including SKU rationalization when needed.
  • Build and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and cross-functional dependencies across multiple product initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, CS/CX, Production, Design, and external development partners to move products from concept through commercialization.
  • Lead product relaunches and ensure product, operational, commercial, and customer requirements are aligned before launch.
  • Support product roadmaps and go-to-market plans, translating brand and business priorities into clear product objectives and executable plans.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product features, pricing, positioning, and differentiation.
  • Monitor product performance, customer feedback, returns, and post-launch results to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and manage relationships with domestic and international vendors, manufacturers, and product-development partners.
  • Manage vendor performance, product quality, timelines, costs, and deliverables throughout the development process.
  • Optimize product costs and minimum order quantities (MOQs) while balancing quality, service, and scalability.
  • Maintain accurate product specifications, testing documentation, project files, and key development decisions.

Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in product development, product management, or project management, with at least 3 years of hands-on medical-device product development experience, including work with FDA-cleared or otherwise regulated products.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end product development from concept and prototyping through testing, launch, and post-launch improvement.
  • Experience leading product relaunches, product enhancements, or lifecycle-management initiatives.
  • Technical knowledge of medical-device development, including prototyping, testing, quality systems, and regulatory considerations.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating device testing, quality-control activities, and regulatory-compliance requirements.
  • Ability to optimize products for performance, customer experience, cost, and scalability.
  • Experience managing multiple product initiatives across Marketing, Supply Chain, Production, Design, CS/CX, and external partners.
  • Experience working with domestic and international vendors and manufacturers to manage quality, timelines, costs, and production requirements.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, including market research, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and post-launch performance evaluation.
  • Familiarity with DTC and e-commerce channels, including Shopify and Amazon.
  • Excellent project-management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working through ambiguity.
  • An AI-forward working style, with practical experience using AI to support research, documentation, competitive analysis, project planning, or workflow efficiency.

Additional Experience
  • Experience developing beauty, wellness, personal-care, or at-home treatment devices.
  • Experience with laser, LED, red light therapy, wearable, or other technology-led consumer devices.
