As the Ninety organization continues to experience exceptional growth, we are looking to bring on aProduct DesignerWe're hiring a Senior Product Designer to help us raise the bar on craft while we build out real system design and process. You'll work closely with the Head of Design, product managers, and engineers to ship well-designed, usable product - and to help the team get better at how we work, not just what we ship.
Who We're Looking ForWe need someone pragmatic. Someone who can walk into ambiguity, ask good questions, and move - not someone who needs six weeks of research and a 40-page framework before they'll put a pixel down. We also need someone genuinely good with people: PMs, engineers, customers, teammates. Craft matters here, but so does being someone people want to work with.
We want someone who asks "why are we doing this?" when something doesn't make sense - not to be difficult, but because they care about getting it right. If you'd rather just execute quietly than raise your hand, this probably isn't the seat for you.
What You'll Do- Design and ship product features end-to-end - from early concept through polished, production-ready UI
- Partner directly with PMs and engineers to turn ambiguous problems into clear, usable solutions
- Bring rigor to our design system - contribute reusable components, patterns, and documentation rather than one-off screens
- Talk to customers and use what you learn to shape design decisions, not just validate ones already made
- Give and receive direct, specific feedback - you can say what's not working and hear the same back without ego
- Navigate shifting priorities without losing sight of quality or the user
What You Bring- 5+ years designing digital products, with a strong portfolio showing range in craft and problem-solving
- Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping workflows
- Experience designing responsive web and/or mobile applications
- Comfort working in an environment where process is still being built - you help build it rather than waiting for it
- A track record of collaborating well with engineering and product, not just handing off Figma files
- Experience designing for complex, workflow-driven products - SaaS, internal tools, marketplaces, or platforms where users get real work done, not just consumer apps
- No allergy to ambiguity - you'd rather ask a good question and move than stall waiting for perfect clarity
Nice to Haves- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and a habit of designing inclusively by default
- Experience designing AI-assisted or AI-powered features in a customer-facing product
