  • Contribute improvements to the J2 design system (components, tokens, documentation)
  • Work closely with engineers to communicate requirements and conduct design QA
  • Partner with lead designer and product managers to improve, challenge, and expand iterations during conceptual stages
  • Support and shadow product discovery and research efforts
  • Assist growth teams through ad-hoc design requests for marketing purposes
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive design decisions that create user value and business impact
  • Support cross-functional initiatives like documentation, user guide updates, and ad-hoc marketing design requests
  • Actively participate in group design critiques to solicit and provide thoughtful feedback

You Should Have:

  • Strong familiarity with modern product design best practices
  • Comfort in working across the entire design process when needed, from discovery to QA
  • Enthusiasm for bringing high-craft experiences to underserved business users
  • An affinity for wrangling complexity and producing clarity
  • Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to articulate your design decisions clearly

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience and understanding of key data visualization methods and their applications
  • Interest in understanding the intricacies of a complex, regulated space like healthcare
  • Experience or interest in motion design and animation
  • Desire to eventually specialize in high-craft interactions and visuals

Working Here:

  • Stipend for at-home work machine and equipment

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$115,000. This role also offers full benefits and equity. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
