SUMMARYResponsible for leading the Cryogenic Experts, ("CEXI") design and drafting team and liaising between the engineering/drafting, sales, quality, and production teams. Will be main point of contact to resolve technical issues while being "hands-on" to complete various customer orders in the vaporizer business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Reinforce corporate commitment to safety and environmental awareness
- Manage resources and priorities for the CEXI design engineering team to align with sales and operations On Time Delivery and the production schedule
- Read and review all formal drawings released to shop floor to validate everything conforms to manufacturing standards
- Work with sales, manufacturing, product management, and quality to model new designs or modifications to existing products
- Will be seen as technical expert and point of contact for all shop floor leads in a manufacturing environment consisting of fabrication, welding, and electrical
- Assist in maintaining and improving the drawing change documentation process (using PDM)
- Specify or aid in the specification of various components for the design of new and existing products
- Provide input on the manufacturability of existing and new products
- Lead the quality function within the facility compliant to organizational standards
- Establish and maintain working parameters with our overseas engineering support team for additional resourcing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - 4 year degree in Electro-mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of experience working closely between both engineering & manufacturing
- 2 years of demonstrated people leadership/ leading a team
- Experience with being a technical & skilled expert in fabrication, welding, and electrical wiring/schematics
- Preferred:
- Background and knowledge in industrial gas systems
- Experience and knowledge of applicable ASME code (B31.3 and Sect. VIII)
- Experience with the design/drafting of welded and brazed assemblies
- Experience with SolidWorks or applicable CAD software
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (desired)
- Must have a good working knowledge of mechanical drafting (line weights, drawing layout, hidden views, the "three view" drawing layout)
- Must be familiar with piping, pipe fittings, flanges, pipe schedules
- Must be familiar with tube, tube fittings, & structural materials
- Should be familiar with material types and characteristics - especially carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum

Work Arrangement : Onsite
Pay Range: $114,000.00 - $140,000.00
