JOB DESCRIPTION

Shape the future of product delivery while crafting solutions that enhance and optimize customer experiences. Lead end-to-end processes, manage dependencies, and liaise with stakeholders as part of a team at the forefront of innovation.

As a Product Delivery Manager within Wholesale Payments, Small & Medium Business Product, you focus on enhancing and optimizing product delivery to customers. You play a crucial role in developing solutions and efficiencies that facilitate successful and timely implementations in a structured manner.


 

Job responsibilities

  • Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
  • Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners 
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery including intake, dependency management, risk materiality assessment, IT sprint development, change management, marketing, communication, testing, operationalization, production readiness and release management.
  • Lead the completion of product and service change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the Firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders across multiple lines of business to effectively manage all resources, dependencies and timelines, monitor and remediate blockers, and ensure adequate resourcing for the life of the project.
  • Assist the Portfolio & Product Delivery Management Manager, Product Owners and Product Managers with quarterly planning and book of work management.
  • Manage and socialize comprehensive program plans, executive summaries, meeting minutes, risks, issues, and decisions, and maintain excellent data integrity within project management tools and repositories (such as JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence), and adhere to all product and project management controls throughout the program's duration to ensure continuous audit readiness.
  • Quickly identify risks, issues, define mitigation plans and escalate appropriately and drive remediation.  Drive strategic discussions, feasibility studies, root cause analysis, help identify any product or process gaps.
  • Engage with Scrum of Scrums, Scrum Master’s and Tech Leads across multiple product areas in order to keep pulse on IT and non-IT related activities.
  • Exhibit thought leadership with a client-focused approach to develop solutions that are impactful for clients and contribute to business growth. Assist with coordination of activities executed by User Acceptance Testing, Marketing, Communication, Sales and Operations workstreams. Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance operational model efficiency and promote ongoing development.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
  • Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
  • Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies 
  • Must be motivated and productive working in a matrixed organization and demonstrate strong partnership and collaboration skills to drive cross functional teams.
  • Must possess a positive, team-oriented attitude and carry the culture and values of JPMorgan Chase
  • Must possess strong leadership skills as well as strong organizational skills to plan, organize and manage resources and tasks.
  • Must have a strong ability to analyze opportunities, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written).
  • Must possess an understanding and have experience dealing with external vendors.
  • Must have sharp communication and presentation skills, and be comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management.
  • Willingness to use AI for process improvement. 

    Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Microsoft suite to include PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Excel.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

 

  • Working knowledge of Monday.com
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • PMP Certification or Certified Scrum Master desired. Proficient knowledge of the product development lifecycle
  • Experience working with Agile and hybrid methodologies
  • Experience working with Third Party vendors/vendor management
  • Motivated and productive working in a matrixed organization
  • Payments and point of sale solutions expertise desired
