Full Job Description
The Role

This role will sit within the Product Data team, reporting into the Head of Product Data Solutions. The team consists of fixed income data experts whose primary focus is to ensure that security and portfolio level analytics of the highest caliber and can be quickly and efficiently disseminated to investors across customized partitions and aggregations. The team's objectives are to source critical data, improve data quality, rigorously and proactively research data errors in order to ensure their timely resolution, minimize inconsistent data sets, enhance transparency, automate recurring reporting deliverables, and improve firm wide consumption of fixed income data.

The Product Data Analyst serves as a key contributor to the production, validation, and delivery of fixed income portfolio analytics used across client reporting, marketing, consultant databases, and investment communications. The role combines fixed income expertise, data analysis, and process improvement to ensure portfolio analytics are accurate, scalable, and readily available to internal and external consumers. The successful candidate will proactively identify data issues, investigate root causes, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvements in data quality and reporting processes.

We'll trust you to:

  • Produce and deliver complex portfolio analytics and custom fixed income data aggregations for clients, consultants, and prospective investors.
  • Partner with Product Specialists, Marketing, and Client Reporting teams to research portfolio characteristics, market trends, and investment outcomes supporting client communications and marketing materials.
  • Design and implement scalable solutions to automate recurring analytics, reporting, and data delivery processes.
  • Provide an ongoing evaluation of portfolio level aggregation methodologies to ensure analytics are fairly and accurately represented
  • Ensure monthly production quality assurance of marketing data sets
  • Produce, review, and quality assure various types of standard and custom client reporting
  • Cross train with other team members to create expertise and learning opportunities across the Product Data & Information team
  • Investigate data anomalies and exceptions, perform root-cause analysis, and partner with internal and external data providers to resolve issues.
  • Evaluate the validity of exception rules and security level analytics


You'll need to have:

  • Advanced Excel skills required.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex fixed income concepts and analytics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to data quality.
  • 3-7 years of experience in investment management, fixed income analytics, risk reporting, performance measurement, market data, or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income instruments, portfolio analytics, and risk characteristics.
  • Experience investigating data quality issues and improving data management processes.
  • Experience working with large financial datasets and analytical platforms.
  • Prior experience in portfolio analytics, risk management, performance measurement, investment operations, or market data functions preferred.
  • Experience with securitized products, structured credit, or mortgage-backed securities is a plus.
  • Bloomberg, FactSet, Aladdin, Yield Book, or similar financial systems experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Pursuit towards or completion of a financial industry designation (CFA, FRM, CIPM, CAIA, PRM) or Master's degree preferred.


Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $120,000-$140,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
