Position at Hearth & Home Technologies, LLC

Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a Product Compliance Engineer to join our Stoves Business Unit in Halifax, PA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead emissions, performance, safety, and compliance testing for new and existing stove products
  • Develop and execute test plans that support product development, certification, and regulatory compliance
  • Analyze test results and provide engineering recommendations that improve product performance, quality, and compliance
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to deliver safe, reliable, and compliant products
  • Support certification activities through technical documentation and coordination with third-party testing and certification agencies
  • Serve as a compliance and testing subject matter expert throughout the product development lifecycle

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three or more years of experience in product development, testing, compliance, or a related engineering environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical standards and engineering documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with combustion, thermal, emissions, or other regulated products
  • Familiarity with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), Canadian Standards Association (CSA), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), ASTM International (ASTM), or similar regulatory standards
  • Experience with laboratory testing, certification activities, or product compliance programs
