We're seeking someone to join our team as a Product Architect, S2P Platforms to help the future-state business architecture and technology strategy for the end-to-end S2P AI Powered ecosystem, connecting business priorities with scalable, integrated and innovative solutions using AI from the data-layer through applications to improve outcomes and user experience.
In the Corporate Services division, we empower our businesses by creating collaborative workplace solutions and commercial services that enhance the employee and client experience, while optimizing the value of our sourcing and third-party lifecycle to enable the Firm to do-and-win business. This is a Vice President position within Business Unit Management, which performs business management/CAO functions such as headcount management, financials, people processes, executive communications, and strategic support. This roles works very closely with the Sourcing / Procurement, which is responsible for procurement (e.g., purchasing and supply chain activities), as well as vendor management (e.g., business requirements gathering, sourcing strategy, competitive and market assessments, negotiation, contracting, and relationships associated with outsourced services).
What you'll do in the role:
- Define and maintain the future-state business architecture and strategic roadmap for the end-to-end S2P ecosystem, aligning business capabilities, processes, data and technology with organizational priorities.
- Serve as the primary liaison between S2P and Technology, translating business strategy and complex requirements into scalable solution designs while ensuring technology decisions support business outcomes.
- Lead the business architecture workstream for large-scale, global transformation initiatives, providing strategic direction from initial concept and capability assessment through design, implementation and adoption.
- Bring a AI first mindset to the team and direct experience implementing Agentic solutions in the S2P domain including for Master Data Management, Sourcing, Contract Lifecycle Management, Accounts Payable, Third Party Risk Management, etc.
- Guide the evolution and integration of the S2P application landscape, including leading Source-to-Pay platforms such as SAP Ariba, GEP, Coupa and similar solutions, as well as SAP platforms including S/4HANA, Fieldglass and Concur, related enterprise systems (Snowflake, Workflows, Portals, Dynamic Discounting, Regional & Country Specific Invoice Exchanges, etc.), integrations (API & MCP) and data flows.
- Identify and shape opportunities to apply artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, analytics and emerging technologies to simplify processes, strengthen controls, improve the user experience and deliver measurable value.
- Establish architecture governance, design principles and decision frameworks, providing strategic direction to Product Owners and Agile delivery teams to ensure delivery priorities align with target-state architecture, business objectives and value realization goals, while partnering with senior stakeholders, process leads, Technology teams and external providers to manage dependencies, risks and strategic trade-offs.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Extensive experience in business architecture, enterprise transformation, technology strategy or product leadership, including demonstrated success leading large-scale, complex and cross-functional programs with a strategic lens.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end S2P capabilities and processes, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, supplier management, contingent workforce, travel and expense, invoicing and payments.
- Hands-on functional, solution architecture or business architecture experience with leading S2P platforms such as SAP Ariba, GEP, Coupa and similar solutions, as well as SAP platforms including S/4HANA, Fieldglass and Concur; experience integrating cloud-based S2P platforms with enterprise resource planning environments is strongly preferred.
- Experience with related enterprise systems (Snowflake, Workflows, Portals, Dynamic Dicounting, Regional & Country Specific Invoice Exchanges, etc.), integrations (API & MCP) and data flows).
- Proven ability to operate as a trusted liaison between business and Technology, communicate complex concepts clearly, challenge constructively and influence decisions across senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience defining target-state capabilities, operating models, process and system architectures, integration strategies, governance standards and multi-year transformation roadmaps in a global organization.
- Working knowledge of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, with the ability to assess practical S2P use cases, business value, implementation considerations and associated control and risk requirements.
- Experience working within Agile and Agentic delivery environments and collaborating with Product Owners, engineering teams and business stakeholders to support roadmap prioritization, capability planning and delivery execution.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $170,000 and $209,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
