Full Job Description
To be considered for this remote opportunity, you must reside and be authorized to work within the United States. Ideal candidates will be able to work during Eastern Stand Time business hours.

About the Role

Resident partners with some of the world's most recognized retail brands to build the data infrastructure that powers modern commerce. As the first Product Analyst dedicated to our parent company, Ashley Furniture - one of the largest furniture retailers globally, with a presence spanning high-volume eCommerce and hundreds of physical stores - you will play a foundational role in shaping how data drives product and business decisions across Ashley's digital experience.

This is a high-ownership role that blends hands-on analysis with strategic influence. You will define how success is measured, frame the right questions, and ensure data is used effectively to create real business impact. You will work remotely while collaborating closely with a globally distributed Data team, partnering day-to-day with colleagues to deliver meaningful, data-driven outcomes.

The right candidate is both analytically rigorous and commercially minded. You understand that great analysis is only as valuable as the decisions it drives - and you take ownership of that full journey. You are confident presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, can navigate complex organizational dynamics with professionalism, and remain focused and constructive when your thinking is challenged. You thrive in fast-paced, high-standards environments where the bar is high and the work is consequential.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Own and analyze the end-to-end user funnel - from discovery through to checkout - identifying opportunities to improve conversion, user experience, and revenue performance
  • Define KPIs and measurement frameworks for product initiatives and business performance, ensuring the right metrics are in place to drive meaningful decisions
  • Lead the design and analysis of A/B tests, including hypothesis definition, metric selection, and impact evaluation
  • Build and evolve the data foundations - event tracking, core metrics, and data definitions - in partnership with Data Engineering
  • Develop dashboards and monitoring tools that provide ongoing visibility into product and business performance
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and performance gaps, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Serve as a trusted analytical voice within the business - actively shaping strategy, challenging assumptions where the data demands it, and influencing key decisions with well-reasoned, evidence-based narratives
  • Establish scalable methodologies for measuring product and business performance across online and offline channels
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and global stakeholders to prioritize opportunities and influence roadmap decisions
  • Apply statistical rigor to experimentation, including power analysis, sample size estimation, and result interpretation

The responsibilities described above are not exhaustive. You may be asked, from time to time and as reasonably required by business needs, to perform other duties consistent with your skills and role, including work for or on behalf of our related entities. This job description does not constitute a contract of employment and may be modified at any time, subject to applicable law.
