Full Job Description
As the Producer of Studio & Creative Content, your primary role will be to work on a new daily show that's driven by stories centered around the Boston/New England cultural landscape. The panel-based show will bring together a diverse group of on-air talent to drill down on the topics that create the most engagement and conversation among Bostonians. The Producer will also assist with the strategy and creation of multi-platform original content for NBC Boston.
Responsibilities:
• Be the creative engine for a live daily studio show, managing all aspects of the show from inception to delivery
• Proactively search for the latest and most relevant content around the Boston zeitgeist to develop engaging and entertaining segments
• Manage multiple on-air personalities with strong preparation and communication to get the absolute best performances
• Provide research for and have ability to build show graphics, including creating and overseeing lower thirds and full-screens that also resonate on social media platforms
• Communicate effectively with Ops team to ensure best technical execution, this includes being comfortable in a live control room setting
• Liaison with other in-house departments (content, production, social media, ad sales, marketing) to ensure all goals and initiatives are fulfilled including advertising campaigns and long term business objectives.
• Ability to work as a feature/field producer in both a forward-facing and behind the scenes capacity

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of (3) years experience in television production, inclusive of live shows
• Experience in leading a team to create alignment on all initiatives supporting the show, including capturing the proper voice and tone
• Experience in newsroom platforms, Dalet preferred
• Experience in some level of editing software, Adobe Premier knowledge preferred
• Experience in impact of social media as a content driver and delivery platform
• Team-first mindset mixed with the ability to be self-motivated, detail-oriented, work independently, and perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
