Position Summary:To manage and move forward the Brokerage division of CSRisks, while meeting or exceeding budget production and EBITA projections for SPG Corporate.
Required Qualifications:- Four-year college degree or (equivalent in work experience) in risk management, business administration, or related field
- 5 years of insurance experience in a fast-paced office environment
- Must be proficient in MS Office products including: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- CIC, CRM, ARM or RPLU Certified
Responsibilities:- Management
- Liaison to Insurers
- Liaison to Marketing Connections internal and external
- Liaison to SPG Counterparts
- Assist in the creation, production and follow through of Corporate Marketing Goals for CSRisks
- Strategic Planning with Director of Brokerage, Operations/Compliance and President
- Corporate Budget Planning for your assigned/developed book of business
- Participate and Lead where possible in SPG initiatives
- Brokerage
- Accountable for Brokerage Production
- Oversee CSRs to Senior AEs when assisting you and your book
- Maintain standards of production
- Negotiate with Insurers
- Oversee Brokerage Marketing Campaigns
- Solicit new Agents and Maintain current Agency relationships
Physical Requirements must be able to:- Use a computer and telephone to communicate effectively with Insureds, Agents and Insurers
- Travel as needed to attend industry and professional meetings
Compensation:Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The compensation for this position is a variable comp structure, i.e., draw plus commission. As such, the total salary paid will vary directly depending on the successful candidate's book of business at an particular time. The draw range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 annually and could be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
