Duties

Job Title: Procurement, Supervisor

Job Location: 724 W. 41st Street South, Tulsa, OK 74107

Responsibilities include: Supports the demand and procurement planning team for electro-submersible pump (ESP) and horizontal pump (HPS) systems, including motors, pumps, seals, cables, VSDs, and related components across international markets. Oversees regional demand planners to define intercompany orders and collaborates with global Halliburton Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) stakeholders and engineering teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and align supply with production and customer delivery needs. Plans sourcing activities to support manufacturing, field operations, and strategic tenders for the international ESP business. Prepares and coordinates Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and competitive bidding processes with suppliers to obtain optimal quality, delivery, and pricing for goods and services. Complies with and executes the Category Management strategy in accordance with Halliburton policies and procedures. Collaborates with Halliburton International Procurement to approve new suppliers, negotiate prices, and implement agreements for goods and services not covered under Category Management. Serves as the lead for an inventory segmentation project (Standardization, Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order), balancing service levels, working capital, and lead time requirements for North America and international markets. This position holds budgetary responsibility and directly impacts on a revenue center's performance or service quality through individual contributions. Position requires 15% international travel.

Requirements

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Procurement, Supervisor related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

  1. Experience in supply chain processes, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics, with a strong focus on international.
  2. Experience with global strategic planning and sourcing. Able to achieve cost saving, improve lead times, and ensure quality and technology requirements for ESP business.
  3. Expertise in SAP MM module for material planning, inventory management, and procurement processes, with a strong ability in data analysis.
  4. Experience of oil and gas production field operations or in electro-submersible pump (ESP) technology.
  5. Experience in Continuous improvement/Lean Manufacturing for process improvement to remove non-value add activity & increase efficiency.
