About This Role

We are seeking experienced Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Category Management Consultants to support a variety of client engagements across industries. These consultants will lead procurement and sourcing initiatives, drive category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and support commercial negotiations across a broad range of direct and indirect spend categories.

This opportunity is open to professionals with experience across any procurement or sourcing category, including but not limited to technology, professional services, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, facilities, MRO, capital equipment, indirect spend, and direct materials. Successful candidates bring strong analytical, stakeholder management, negotiation, and category management capabilities, along with a track record of delivering procurement and sourcing results in complex organizations.

What You Will Work On

  • Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management initiatives across a variety of direct and indirect spend categories.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies, supplier selection processes, and commercial negotiations to achieve business objectives.
  • Partner with business, functional, legal, finance, risk, and operational stakeholders to evaluate sourcing options and supplier capabilities.
  • Manage RFx processes, supplier assessments, benchmarking activities, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses.
  • Negotiate favorable commercial, contractual, and service terms while balancing cost, quality, risk, and performance considerations.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and support ongoing supplier performance management activities.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, risk mitigation, and value creation across assigned categories.
  • Manage multiple sourcing and procurement initiatives simultaneously, driving progress independently and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.


What You Will Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, or related supply chain functions.
  • Demonstrated success leading sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and procurement programs across a variety of spend categories.
  • Strong commercial negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to influence decision-making, build consensus, and drive results in complex organizational environments.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities, with experience evaluating cost, risk, quality, and supplier performance considerations.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and make an immediate impact in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience across one or more direct or indirect spend categories, with the adaptability to support evolving business needs and procurement priorities.
  • Pay Range: $40-$80/hour
