Full Job Description
The Opportunity

Wolf Midstream is seeking a Procurement Specialist - Supply Chain, to join our team in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials and services are sourced and delivered efficiently to support our operations. You will collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams, while building productive relationships with external suppliers and service providers. This position is ideal for a procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced operations environment and enjoys building strong vendor relationships while driving value, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Fort Saskatchewan, AB office. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Operations Support

  • Manage the procurement of materials and services supporting operational and multi-trade field requirements
  • Create and administer purchase orders (POs) and maintain vendor account information
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers
  • Ensure purchasing documentation and records are accurate and up to date
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure procurement-related information is complete and timely
  • Review requisitions to ensure appropriate coding and approvals prior to purchase
  • Expedite outstanding purchase orders and resolve supplier discrepancies
  • Monitor open POs, including identifying required increases and facilitating timely closure
  • Support planning, budgeting, and work-hour calculations related to procurement activities
  • Manage vehicle fleets across Wolf Midstream entities


Supply Chain Initiatives

  • Support vendor prequalification activities
  • Identify opportunities to optimize procurement processes and supplier performance
  • Prepare, issue, and coordinate RFx processes
  • Conduct commercial evaluations of supplier proposals
  • Participate in supplier negotiations
  • Maintain contract files and databases and support contract administration activities
  • Develop and manage supply chain processes, metrics, and reporting to drive continuous improvement


Warehouse Support

  • Provide warehouse-related support activities as required


Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or SCMP
  • Forklift certification


Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience
  • Experience supporting operations in pipeline, energy, industrial, or other field-based environments
  • Warehousing experience
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 and/or Hexagon
