We are currently seeking a meticulous and strategic Procurement Specialist to join our fully remote team.

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the company's sourcing and procurement activities. You will play a crucial part in ensuring we secure the best value from our suppliers and maintain strong, productive relationships with vendors, directly contributing to our financial efficiency and operational success.

Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, and refine procurement strategies to optimise spending across the organisation.
* Identify and source potential new suppliers, conducting thorough evaluations and risk assessments.
* Lead contract negotiations with vendors to secure favourable terms, pricing, and service levels.
* Manage and cultivate relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent quality and performance.
* Analyse market trends and company spending data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including Finance, IT, and Operations, to understand their procurement requirements.
* Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from purchase order creation to final payment.
* Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
* Maintain accurate and organised records of all procurement documentation, including contracts and supplier agreements.

Qualifications

* Proven professional experience as a Procurement Specialist, Purchasing Manager, or in a similar role.
* A strong understanding of procurement principles, sourcing techniques, and contract management.
