ABOUT THE ROLEThe Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential to organizational operations. This role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards, supplier compliance, and adherence to company policies and applicable regulations.
Essential Functions- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contract.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and legal requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and timelines.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.
- Support inventory planning and demand forecasting as required.
- Assist with audits and supplier reviews.

ABOUT YOUQualifications- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field and/or qualified experience.
- Experience in EPC Solar and BESS Projects.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Excellent negotiation and team-building skills.

WHAT WE OFFERCompensation & Benefits- Hourly Rate $37.00-$52.00/ hour (Non-Exempt)
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. CSI reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the selected candidate's qualifications.
