ABOUT THE ROLE

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential to organizational operations. This role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards, supplier compliance, and adherence to company policies and applicable regulations.

Essential Functions
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contract.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and legal requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.
  • Support inventory planning and demand forecasting as required.
  • Assist with audits and supplier reviews.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate $37.00-$52.00/ hour (Non-Exempt)
    • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. CSI reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the selected candidate's qualifications.
