WHAT YOU'LL DO...

The Procurement Manager provides strategic and operational leadership across procurement functions to ensure reliable supply, optimized cost, and strong supplier performance. This role is accountable for developing end-to-end sourcing strategies, driving cross-functional collaboration, and building a high-performance, value-driven procurement organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversees sourcing, supplier management, and contract governance to ensure cost-effective and reliable supply.
  • Develops and executes category strategies that drive value, innovation, and risk mitigation.
  • Builds high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Ensures procurement practices align with regulatory, ethical, and corporate standards.
  • Drives cost optimization while maintaining quality and service levels.
  • Implements best practices to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensures procurement systems deliver accurate data and actionable insights.
  • Builds strategic partnerships to enhance supplier performance and long-term value.


OTHER INFORMATION:

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kelowna, BC (805 Crowley Ave, Kelowna, BC V1Y 7G6), working Monday to Friday, 8-hour days.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience, including team oversight, scheduling, and performance management
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with materials, fabrication, inventory systems, and ERP platforms
  • Professional designations (SCMP, CPSM, APICS/CSCP) are an asset
  • Expert level proficiency in Excel
  • Understanding of project management disciplines and best practices
  • Highly organized with the ability to deliver detailed, accurate work in a timely manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
