Description

Main Purpose:

The Procurement Manager plays a critical role in ensuring Englobal secures goods and services efficiently, cost-effectively and in alignment with business goals.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Identify reliable suppliers and evaluate sourcing options (local vs. global)
  • Forecast purchasing needs based on production or business requirements
  • Identify, evaluate and onboard vendors
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships ensuring a high level of transparency and ethical interaction not only with suppliers but with internal company stakeholders
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance (quality, delivery, pricing, reliability etc.) and risk
  • Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts to achieve cost savings
  • Draft, review and manage contracts and service agreements
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
  • Analyze spending and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Manage procurement budgets and track expenditures
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses for purchasing decisions
  • Oversee the entire procure-to-pay (P2P) process
  • Ensure timely purchasing of materials, goods and services
  • Implement and improve procurement policies and procedures per International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards inclusive of vendor pre-qualifications, evaluations, grading and if needed replacement
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations
  • Manage ethical sourcing and sustainability practices
  • Mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., delays, shortages and geopolitical risks)
  • Lead and mentor procurement team members
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, legal and engineering teams
  • Align procurement goals with broader organizational initiatives
  • Track and analyze procurement KPIs (cost savings, supplier performance and cycle time)
  • Generate reports for leadership
  • Use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Ensure optimal stock levels (avoid overstocking or stockouts)
  • Support demand planning and forecasting
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50-75 pounds

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration
  • 8+ years experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)
  • Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Desirable Experience, Education and Training:
  • Experience using supply chain and procurement systems (ERP, SAP etc.)

Tools, Equipment and Technology:
  • Supply Chain / Procurement software and systems
  • Computer and office supplies

Environmental Conditions:

80 to 90% of the work activities are performed indoors.
