About the role:As the Procurement Manager, eCommerce Last Mile, you will play a critical role in shaping Maersk's eCommerce product offering by developing and executing sourcing and supplier relationship strategies across transportation, fulfillment, sortation, labeling, and final-mile delivery services. Working closely with Product Management, Operations, Commercial, Pricing, Finance, and Legal teams, you will build and manage a high-performing supplier network that supports scalable, customer-centric logistics solutions. This is a highly visible individual contributor role with significant influence on commercial outcomes, operational excellence, and profitable growth within Maersk's growing eCommerce and Last Mile business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that support the growth, profitability, and scalability of Maersk's eCommerce and Last Mile product portfolio.
- Lead supplier identification, qualification, onboarding, and relationship management activities across key service categories.
- Conduct commercial negotiations for transportation rates, service agreements, Statements of Work, and other supplier contracts.
- Build Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), should-cost models, and business cases to support sourcing decisions and value creation.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop competitive, scalable, customer-focused logistics solutions.
- Establish supplier performance metrics, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leverage analytics, automation, and digital tools to improve procurement effectiveness, visibility, and supplier performance.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, transportation, logistics, supplier management, or related supply chain functions.
- Experience within eCommerce, parcel, last-mile delivery, fulfillment, or technology-enabled logistics environments.
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong commercial, financial, and analytical capabilities, including experience developing business cases and TCO models.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and drive alignment.
- Strong technology orientation with experience leveraging digital platforms, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite, 5 days per week)
Travel Expectations: Limited to moderate travel based on business needs, including supplier and stakeholder engagement.
Salary: $110,000 - $140,000*
*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
