Procurement Manager
Responsibilities:- Manage employees from multiple Supply Chain and Project Management disciplines performing activities in support of company and supplier operations, rate readiness and performance management.
- Ensure team communicates supplier performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
- Develop and execute supplier recovery project plans and set supplier improvement goals and timelines.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with suppliers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Oversight of the team to manage suppliers to the negotiated contractual documents.
- Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
- Ensures team is initiating and executing supplier recovery and improvement activities.
- Coach, counsel, mentor and provide developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities.
- Provide on-going developmental feedback.
- Demonstrate the Boeing Values and Behaviors as a leader within Global Field Operations
Position requires up to 75% of domestic and international travel.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- 5+ years leading/managing teams or projects.
- 5 + years of experience leading and working in a production environment delivering aerospace products
- 5 + years of experience working in Supply Chain or Supplier Program Management
- 5+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives
- Willing to travel
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- 3+ years of experience with Boeing Supply Chain
- 3+ years in a role requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- 3+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 3+ years of people management experience including responsibility for performance management and career development
