Overview

The Regional Procurement Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company's procurement function. This includes identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. 

  

In addition to procurement leadership, this role oversees the region’s Material Equipment Requisition (MER) process and inventory management systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cost control across all business units. The Regional Procurement Director is accountable for standardizing inventory procedures, driving accountability for material usage, and supporting field operations with timely access to required parts and equipment. They will work closely with warehouse leaders, branch management, and corporate teams to improve visibility, reduce waste, and optimize working capital tied to materials. 

  

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, along with a proven track record of success in procurement, materials management, and inventory control in a multi-site operational environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives 
  • Oversee regional MER and inventory management processes to ensure material accountability, reduce waste, and support field operational readiness 
  • Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers based on factors such as price, quality, delivery, and reliability 
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers 
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise 
  • Manage the procurement budget and ensure that all purchases are made within budget constraints 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in procurement 
  • Build trust and rapport with operational leaders throughout the org 
  • Monitor and audit ordering practices for businesses within the region 
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement or a related field 
  • Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

PAY TRANSPARENCY:  

  

The annual pay opportunity for this role ranges from $110-140K DOE. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility.
