Procurement Analytics & Data Management Role

Procurement Analyst II - Data & Visualization is accountable for owning and advancing core Procurement data domains and analytical capabilities that enable global decision-making. Operating with a significant degree of autonomy, the role leads data quality governance, drives harmonization across systems, and develops scalable analytical solutions that directly influence supplier performance, risk management, working capital, and cost optimization outcomes.

This role serves as a subject-matter expert for complex Procurement data structures, reporting frameworks, and advanced analytics, ensuring global consistency and driving continuous improvement across regions and categories. The Analyst partners closely with the Procurement Data Strategy Manager to shape and execute the global Procurement data strategy.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsibilities (40%)
  • Own the execution and governance of Procurement data quality and harmonization across global data domains (supplier, spend, contract, performance, risk).
  • Independently diagnose and resolve complex data inconsistencies across systems (SAP, BW, Azure Data Lake, dashboards), leveraging root cause analysis to implement sustainable, systematic fixes.
  • Enforce data standards and proactively lead continuous improvement initiatives to evolve procurement data structures in alignment with the global data governance framework.

2. Responsibilities (15%)
  • Lead the translation of complex business requirements into scalable data models, user-centric dashboards, and technical specifications.
  • Own the functional development and enhancement of Procurement digital tools and advanced analytics solutions, ensuring they align with overall data architecture guidelines. Cooperate with leadership in developing digital roadmap.

3. Responsibilities (20%)
  • Manage and optimize the global and regional procurement reporting portfolio (scorecards, dashboards), ensuring complete accountability for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise KPI definitions.
  • Drive the automation strategy for reporting processes to eliminate manual efforts, maximize system scalability, and accelerate time-to-insight for stakeholders.

4. Responsibilities (25%)
  • Lead advanced analytics initiatives that uncover insights related to supplier performance, spend optimization, risk exposure, and working capital drivers.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for category leaders, regional procurement teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for value creation within Procurement Design & Transformation scope.
  • Influence decision-making by presenting insights and recommendations to direct and cross-functional leadership.


EDUCATION

A. Discipline: Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.

B. Minimum level of education required to perform the job: BS

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS/STANDARDS, LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS IN ADDITION TO GENERAL EDUCATION

Additional certifications preferred: Pursuit of APICs

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 4+ years in a Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Customer Service, Data Analytics, or related fields required.
  • Experience working with complex, multi-source datasets (SAP, BI tools, external data).
  • Strong capability in data cleansing, structuring, and harmonization.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform advanced data analysis and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar tools required; exposure to data platforms (e.g., Azure, SQL) preferred.
