Position Overview

The Procurement Digitalization organization is seeking a senior-level Procurement Data & Power BI Product Owner to own and advance the Procurement analytics product portfolio. This role is accountable for all critical Procurement dashboards, underlying data models, and overall performance, reliability, and scalability of Procurement reporting solutions. The individual will act as a hands-on developer, data product owner, and strategic thought leader in analytics and AI for Procurement.

This position is expected to define analytics strategy, influence decision-making through insights, and mentor others across Procurement and Digital teams.

As a senior professional-level role, this position requires independent leadership, advanced subject matter expertise, and broad perspective. The role routinely addresses highly complex problems, defines new approaches, and is recognized as an expert within the analytics, data, and Procurement domains.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement Analytics Product Ownership:
    - Own the end-to-end lifecycle of all Procurement dashboards and analytics products, with Power BI as the primary visualization platform.
    - Define vision, roadmap, and prioritization for Procurement analytics in alignment with business strategy and leadership priorities.
    - Serve as the single point of accountability for dashboard accuracy, availability, usability, and performance.
  • Data Models & Performance:
    - Design, own, and govern Procurement data models, semantic models, and data transformations supporting BI and AI use cases.
    - Ensure scalable, high-performing Power BI solutions through optimization of data models, DAX, refresh strategies, and architecture.
    - Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data quality, lineage, and governance.
  • Hands-On Development:
    - Act as a lead Power BI developer, producing complex dashboards, measures, and advanced analytics.
    - Perform data extraction, cleansing, and transformation using SQL and related tools.
    - Establish and enforce development standards and best practices.
  • AI & Innovation Leadership:
    - Serve as a thought leader for applying AI, advanced analytics, and automation within Procurement.
    - Identify and pilot AI-driven use cases such as predictive insights, anomaly detection, and Copilot-enabled workflows.
    - Stay current on emerging analytics and AI capabilities and translate them into business value.
  • Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement:
    - Build strong relationships with Procurement leadership, category teams, and cross-functional partners.
    - Translate complex data and analytics concepts into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
    - Mentor and guide other analysts, developers, and product owners.

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of business process improvement, lean or six sigma experience
  • At least 1 years of lead experience
