The Role

The Service Parts Information & Cataloging team is responsible for creating, managing, and delivering world class part content to various onlinedigital solutions.

The Part Content & Analytics Lead plays a vital role in increasing the volume of part photography, developing AI and Power App solutions, and interpreting the data. Being able to analyze and tell an effective story about the data is extremely important.You will work cross functionally between the Service Parts Information & Cataloging, GM IT, National ACDelco & Retail Account, and Service Engineering and other DSWO teams to drive forward part content and AI solutions.

What You27ll Do

  • Develop & Sustain Power BI dashboards

  • Develop and sustain AI agents

  • Identify newer technologies team should be using and cross train others

  • Develop and automate manual processes

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to source and prioritize data effectively

  • Utilize tools such as Partsmart (PIM), Erapa, ARC, Databricks, Knime, Power BI, Access databases, and SQL

  • Develop & maintain Photography Strategy (physical and AI rendering)

  • Work cross functionally with PDC & Warehouse leadership and UAW members

  • Understanding of OE and Aftermarket content including ACES & PIES

  • Collaborate and manage competing priorities with the Product Information Management (PIM) team, National Accounts, eCommerce, GM Parts Connect and other teams.

  • Be able to lead and drive conversations

  • Drive solutions to fill data gaps and perform data audits

  • Ability to interpret data and tell a story about the data to leadership

  • Produce visuals that help tell the story

  • Develop and implement new processes, provide feedback, and work with others to ensure continuous improvement

  • Bachelor27s Degree

What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage(Preferred Qualifications)

  • Master's Degree preferred

  • Experience with data management and familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) systems such as PartSmart

  • Experience with Service Engineering Content (ERAPA & ARC)

  • Highly encouraged to have knowledge of Auto Care, PIES (Product Information Exchange Standard) and ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard) standards

  • Familiarity with automotive retail accounts such as Amazon, Auto Zone, Advanced Auto, O27Reilly, and NAPA

  • Familiarity with eCommerce & GM EPC/GM Parts Connect

  • Experience online OE & Aftermarket content

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week {or other frequency dictated by their manager}.
