Full Job Description

Make an impact by helping shape how Epicor approaches strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships. As a Procurement Consultant, you will analyze spend, lead sourcing events, negotiate supplier agreements, and partner with stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies that deliver strong overall value for the business. You will work across indirect spend categories, which may include IT, Marketing, HR, and other corporate functions, depending on your background. We are seeking someone who is analytical, commercially minded, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and able to take ownership of complex sourcing work with a high degree of autonomy.

What you will be doing:
  • Lead sourcing events using structured RFX methodologies, including market research, spend analysis, supplier evaluation, and recommendation development.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, shape sourcing strategies, and influence supplier decisions across indirect spend categories.
  • Review, draft, and lead negotiations of third-party supplier contracts in partnership with Legal, Information Security, IT, and other internal stakeholders to secure favorable commercial and legal terms.
  • Develop and execute multi-step negotiation strategies, analyze commercial options, and build recommendations that demonstrate business value and savings opportunities.
  • Proactively manage sourcing strategies, contract events, renewals, and supplier performance while helping stakeholders make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate on category plans, procurement priorities, team goals, and broader efforts to strengthen the procurement function.
  • Prepare and present sourcing recommendations, financial analysis, and business cases to stakeholders up to the Senior Vice President level.

What you will likely bring:
  • 3+ years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or a related discipline, including hands-on experience running RFPs and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Experience supporting indirect procurement, with exposure to categories such as IT, Marketing, HR, professional services, or other corporate spend being highly relevant.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate spend and build financial business cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence stakeholders across functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively both independently and collaboratively, and make sound decisions in an evolving environment.
  • Strong initiative and comfort conducting research, solving loosely defined problems, and moving work forward without requiring highly structured direction.

What could set you apart:
  • 1+ years’ specialized or industry experience within procurement or strategic sourcing.
  • Experience working in a structured procurement development or rotational program.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies and driving measurable savings or broader business value across indirect spend categories.
